I asked our other allies to intervene on our behalf. Due to that, diplomatic channels have reopened. Progress is being made. It seems that bad blood between our previous hosts and both these alliances have existed for a long time. Goes back to our refusal to aid them in a war when we were their allies. Since none of this is something most of us (myself included) was aware of, they seem willing to listen. The want to make sure we are not thefree of the past that betrayed them but thefree of the future who will stand by it's allies.
